Marcus T. Olds

A founding member of Olds & Brown, Marcus Olds has aggressively and successfully represented the criminally accused and personal injury victims since 2013. Marcus focuses on two narrow practice areas with one objective: Winning for clients. 

Marcus holds a Bachelor of Science from Harding University and Juris Doctor from Thomas M. Cooley (Western Michigan University) Law School. Marcus became fluent in the Spanish language at Harding University and spent two years as an ESL professor at Grayson College. Marcus worked with the Grayson County District Attorney’s Office before obtaining his law license and entering private practice in 2013 at age 24. 

Marcus thrives on trial and spends most of his time fighting for clients in court. Marcus has successfully defended criminal cases in Tarrant, Dallas, Collin, Denton, Cooke, and Grayson counties. Marcus has obtained numerous dismissals and won “Not Guilty” jury verdicts at trial, including serious felony allegations. 

Marcus has recovered major awards in personal injury cases from Dallas / Fort Worth and Sherman to Tulsa, Oklahoma and as far south as San Antonio, Texas. Marcus has successfully represented clients suffering serious personal injuries from automobile and semi-truck accidents, and victims of negligently designed products. Marcus’ clients have recovered for numerous types of life-altering injuries requiring major surgeries, and even Traumatic Brain Injuries. 

Marcus is a Deacon of Foreign Missions at the Western Heights Church of Christ in Sherman, Texas and contributes to mission efforts in Africa, South America, and at home in Texas.
